The pleasure of your company is requested for a match made in Party Town on Friday, February 14th, when the Waterloo Black Hawks host the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.

Although Waterloo and Cedar Rapids have never had much affection for each other, love will be in bloom after the game as the Black Hawks host the Cedar Valley’s largest wedding ceremony. KCRR's very own James Patrick will preside over the formalities and make sure no one gets cold feet after walking down the red carpet on the ice. Then, friends and family of the happy couples will all be invited to stick around for a reception with drinks, a live DJ, and the Chicken Dance.

All couples registering for the event will receive complimentary game tickets. A group ticket discount will be available to all of their relatives and well-wishers, who will also receive a free drink ticket for the postgame/postwedding reception. Each couple that registers will also receive a customized Black Hawks gift package worth $250, as well as unique, customized Black Hawks wedding invitations.

Other unique aspects of the festive evening will include Tommy Hawk serving as ring bearer. A Black Hawks-themed wedding cake will provide the opportunity for the brides and grooms to feed one another a piece of cake during a traditional photo moment. New couples will also have the chance to be pictured in photos at center ice, near the net, or in the penalty box.
