Holy Cow! America surprised EVERYONE. I think even Trump was surprised. Regardless, of how you feel or how you voted, it's over and at this point we just need to band together as a nation and support what makes this country great.

I have lots of thoughts about what happened during yesterday's election, but I'll keep them to myself for now. I'm not political guru and don't want to be. I do, however, have a list of items trending today.

  • Donald Trump became the President-elect last night after garnering 288 electoral votes as of 3 a.m. Eastern time
  • Business Insider claims Lady Gaga, Cher and Katy Perry all allegedly cried backstage at Hillary Clinton's election party.
  • Bryan Cranston, Samuel L Jackson, Lena Dunham, Neve Campbell, Cher, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand and NeYo all said they would move out of America if Donald Trump was elected President.
  • A survey by Vox.com reveals that 28% of Americans plan to move to Canada because Donald Trump is the President-elect
  • Royal Jordanian Airlines used the Presidential election to sell tickets yesterday to the United States. They posted an ad with a caption that read: "Just in case he wins ... Travel to the United States while you're still allowed to."
  • The NYPD booted a mariachi band from outside of Trump Tower yesterday
  • Sports Illustrated says some Cubs fans chose Theo Epstein as their write-in candidate for President. Theo runs the team
  • The NY Post claims a fan recently asked Giselle Bundchen if she and Tom Brady were backing Donald Trump. She said, "NO".
  • Breaking911 claims a British gambler wagered $300,000 on Donald Trump to win the Presidential election.
  • TMZ claims the city of New York parked sanitation trucks outside Trump properties yesterday in order to protect his buildings from terrorist attacks
  • Us Weekly claims Eric Trump broke New York laws yesterday by taking a ballot selfie
  • ABC claims a $7,000 cake of Donald Trump's likeness was purchased for his victory party. It showed him from the shoulders up.

Here's what I think:

If you're a celebrity, or anyone else, and you threatened to move to Canada, please do and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Seriously! Have some faith in your fellow Americans. That's like taking your ball and going home because you're losing. Pompous dicks!
