
Distillery Issues Recall After Accidentally Filling Bottles Of Gin — With Hand Sanitizer
A distillery in Australia issued a recall after it accidentally shipped gin bottles containing hand sanitizer, according to the Apollo Bay Distillery. The company had been using a portion of its facility to make hand sanitizer during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The distillery said on their Facebook page:
The product recall below relates to nine (9) bottles of SS Casino Gin purchased between Friday 5 June to Sunday 7 June. The bottles were incorrectly labeled and had no seal. We understand they are not toxic.
