Day two of the 2016 Iowa High School Girls Basketball State Tournament saw two undefeated teams keep winning and one major upset.

All of the Class 1A semifinal matches were set on Monday. The Class 2A and 3A semifinal games were locked in on Day two. A couple of Class 4A quarterfinals rounded out the second day of play at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Unbeaten and second-ranked Iowa City Regina marched past Manson-Northwest Webster thanks to a 59-47 win. The Regals improved to 25-0 on the season. (Read More, Box Score)

Top-ranked Pocahontas Area raced past Mount Vernon 83-43 to open the Class-3A quarterfinals. The Indians are now 25-0 on the year. (Read More, Box Score).

Cherokee prevailed in a back and forth race up and down the court. The fourth ranked Braves beat Osage, 72-67 (Read More, Box Score)

Center Point-Urbana escaped with a 48-43 victory over Mid-Prairie. The Pointers are now 24-1 after their quarterfinal win. (Read More, Box Score).

Nevada showed its championship mettle in moving another step closer to a second-straight title game appearance beating SIoux Center, 59-44. (Read More, Box Score)
