Country Legends to Perform in Waterloo
Some country legends will be bringing the party to the Cedar Valley this month.
This year's team behind the National Cattle Congress Fair announced earlier in the summer, that the big concert event for 2023 would involve a whole lot of classic-sounding country music.
Country powerhouses Tracy Lawrence and Chris Cagle are set to perform at the summer event.
Songs like 'Time Marches On,' 'Alibis,' and 'Paint Me A Birmingham' cemented Lawrence as a legend in the country music world. The Texas native has been nominated for a Country Music Association award three times over the course of his career.
Chris Cagle first dipped his toes into the world of country music through songwriting. The Tennessee native might be best known for his career-making #1 hit song 'I Breathe In, I Breathe Out' in 1998.
He retired from music a few years ago but is once again on the road this fall.
In 2002, he was nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Male Vocalist.
The concert will take place in the Hippodrome in Waterloo on Friday, September 22nd. Tickets are currently on sale right now for $35 plus handling fees. This cost does not include the price of admission to the fair.
