A Northeast Iowa man faces charges after leading Clayton County authorities on a chase.

The incident began at about 8:30pm Monday, March 28th, when the Clayton County Sheriff received a complaint about a vehicle that was being driven all over the road on Highway 18, west of Marquette.

Deputies located the suspect vehicle and tried to pull them over, but the driver refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit, westbound on Highway 18, then north on Greenfield Avenue, southeast of Monona.

The chase came to an end, when the vehicle crashed at 120th Street, just east of Monona.

The driver, 36 year old Travis Henning of Monona, was initially taken to a local hospital, and treated for minor injuries. Henning was then arrested and charged with OWI-2nd offense, and felony eluding.

The Clayton County Sheriff was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, MarMac Police Department, and Monona Ambulance.
