If you've passed by North Point at 621 Center Point Rd NE in Cedar Rapids recently, you may have noticed a big new sign out front. The sign reads "Raging Ryno's," which has led Iowans to believe that North Point has closed its doors. That is not the case.

In a couple of new Facebook updates, North Point is letting patrons know that the bar is still open, there will just be another new business in the same building! The post reads:

"Public announcement. North Point - Cedar Rapids is still open. We are welcoming Raging Ryno's in the front space."

Raging Ryno's is a new restaurant that will specialize in sliders, with over 15 different kinds available. There will also be a small breakfast and eggs benedict menu that will be offered all day, as well as plenty of mules and other cocktails. The restaurant is moving into the front space of the building only, with North Point still occupying the rest of the building and the large outdoor patio. They will still offer their own food menu and lots of live musical acts on both their indoor and outdoor stages. The post reads:

"Hey, there may be some hiccups at first but I assure you it will be cool and fun. Sorry for any confusion and remember to always support local business."

Raging Ryno's isn't open just yet, but they're getting closer! The signage is up, the menu is complete, and they're actively hiring. You can get the latest updates from the new restaurant HERE.

North Point is open and will remain open throughout the transition! You can check out their live music schedule and menu HERE.
