A Cedar Falls motorist is being charged with causing a one-vehicle accident near Jesup.

Buchanan County sheriff's deputies were called out to a traffic accident near the 246 mile marker of U.S. Highway 20.

The investigation indicated that Zoe Williams of Cedar Falls was driving west on U.S. 20, when the vehicle left the highway and struck signage along the side of the road.

No one was injured, but Williams was charged with failure to maintain control.

A report shows the accident occurred around 1 AM Friday. Buchanan County sheriff's officials were assisted by the Jesup Fire Department and Jesup Ambulance service.
