Cedar Falls Baker Takes 1st Place At Iowa State Fair

Cedar Falls baker Mary Lyman secured her 1st place prize in the bundt cake competition at the Iowa State Fair. For her spectacular work she received a 75 dollar gift certificate while her subordinates in second and third place received a 50 dollar and 25 dollar certificate respectively. Entries were judged on appearance, moistness, flavor, and texture.
