Casey’s Introducing ‘Midwest Mystery’ Pizza In Iowa

Iowa-born Casey's General Stores are known for their pizza. They are routinely chosen as the best pizza in polls and surveys throughout the state.

Now the gas station chain is mixing some of our favorite 'Midwestern flavors' to a new pie.

According to the Courier, Casey's is introducing something called the 'Midwest Mystery Pizza.' The ingredients aren't too mysterious, however. They include pulled pork, bacon, fire-roasted corn, and Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce.

And the name won't be 'Mystery Pizza' for long. The chain is hosting a contest from September 1-14 where the public can take a stab at naming the pizza. The winner (announced September 28) will receive a year-long supply of free 'za.

Art Sebastian, Casey’s Vice President of Digital Experience said regarding the pizza:

Casey’s is based in the heart of the Midwest, and we really wanted to showcase this with the ingredients on our new Midwest Mystery Pizza.

So, give it a shot this Sunday when it hits your nearest Casey's, and start brainstorming a name!
