Bremer County Farm Accident Injures Elderly Man
A rural Bremer County man was taken to the hospital following a farm accident near Plainfield.
According to sheriff's officials, rescue personnel found Harold Reuscher, 86, pinned under the bucket of a skid loader he had been using. Reuscher was extricated from underneath the bucket, then air-lifted to a Waterloo hospital. A condition report was not immediately available.
The accident occurred around 11 AM Wednesday on a farm along Fairview Aveune, east of Plainfield.
Bremer County sheriff officials were assisted by Waverly Ambulance, Plainfield Fire Department and Plainfield First Responders.
