Heading into the weekend, Waterloo sits on top of the Western Conference with a one point lead over, the Lincoln Stars.

DUPACO COWBELL CUP RIVALRY GAMES
After gallivanting through the Great Lakes states, the Black Hawks will spend the rest of November within Iowa’s borders. Friday, Waterloo visits the Dubuque Fighting Saints for the first of eight head-to-head match-ups this season. The Hawks and Fighting Saints have allowed the fewest goals this year: Waterloo at 2.0 per game and Dubuque right behind at 2.2. Saturday’s opponent is the league’s highest-scoring squad. The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders tally 4.4 goals each night. They host the Hawks at 7:05 p.m., closing out a string of six consecutive Waterloo road games.

GUZZO'S GOALS ARE GOOD
Patrick Guzzo has recorded a goal in three consecutive games. It is his second three-game point streak of the young season, both surpassing any scoring run from his rookie year. Guzzo’s next goal will give him six in 2019/20, matching his total from last season. The future Michigan Wolverine is currently tied with Ryder Rolston and Connor Caponi for the Hawks’ goal lead.
