*Plus it's Comic Con Night! Those who come in costume will have the chance to take the ice at intermission. The best look – by acclamation of Black Hawks fans – will win tickets for Waterloo’s entire run during the Clark Cup Playoffs. The dynamic duo of Rod Con and Limited Edition Comics will help to set the mood during the Black Hawks’ Comic Con Night. Limited Edition will provide free comic books while supplies last to fans in attendance. Rod Con is an annual free mini comic book convention hosted by the University of Northern Iowa’s Rod Library. This year’s event will be on Saturday, April 13th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring a costume contest, panel discussions, and appearances by artists Kat Leyh and Clara Meath. During the Black Hawks’ Comic Con Night, Rod Con representatives will bring information about their event, as well as providing the questions for a trivia contest at the arena.
