
Woman Hurt in Rural Bremer County Accident
A northeast Iowa woman has been injured in a one-vehicle accident in Bremer County.
Bremer County sheriff's officials said Brittany Jacobsen, 32, of Frederika, went out of control and rolled in a ditch. Jacobsen and her unidentified passenger were both taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release the extent of Jacobsen's injuries.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 63 (Larrabee Ave.) just north of Denver around 2:20 AM on Thursday (June 28, 2018).
Sheriff's officials said Jacobsen was charged with failure to prove security against liability, accident related.
