Area Man Seriously Hurt in Rural Motorcycle Accident

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a motorcycle accident near Wadena, that seriously injured an area man.
It occurred just after 6am Tuesday, on Cedar Road, approximately 4 miles north of Wadena.

38 year old Larry Lee Seurer of Wadena was driving the cycle north, when he lost control, and was thrown into the ditch.

Seurer was taken by ambulance to Palmer Hospital in West Union, then later flown to a LaCrosse, Wisconsin hospital, with what are described as life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.

There was $4,500 damage to the 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The accident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
