A young northeast Iowa man is in the hospital and two others face charges following a weekend accident involving a car and a motorcycle in Bremer County.
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday near Waverly. A Bremer County sheriff's deputy witnessed the accident.

A motorcycle driven by Colton Henning, 18, of Clarksville collided with a car driven by Mario Jarvis-Neuhaus, 32, of Shell Rock.

Henning was initially taken to the Waverly hospital, then transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City. A condition report was not available.

Jarvis-Neuhaus and his passenger, Hannah Katzenburger, 34, also of Shell Rock, were treated at the Waverly hospital for minor injuries.

Following an investigation, Jarvis-Neuhaus was arrested for operating while intoxicated, as well as being cited for driving while suspended and failure to yield when making a left turn.

Katzenburger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
