Accident Involving Farm Wagon Injures Two
Charges may be filed regarding a multi-vehicle accident in Bremer County that put two people in the hospital last week.
The crash happened on U.S. Highway 218 south of Plainfield just before 7:30 PM on Thursday.
Bremer County sheriff's officials said a van driven by Dale Duryee of Charles City collided with a farm wagon, being pulled by a tractor, driven by John White of Plainfield.

The collision disabled the van, which was stopped in the lane of traffic on the highway. The van was then struck by a car driven by Shau Landt of Charles City.

Duryee and his passenger were taken to the Waverly hospital for treatment; there was no indication on the severity of their injuries. No one else was hurt.
