A Prom Dress Store Will Return to Lindale Mall in January
Prom 2024 may still be pretty far away, but dress shopping season is right around the corner! A popular shop called Dream Dress is set to reopen soon at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids.
According to the official website, Dream Dress will open for the season on Saturday, January 6th. The store features 8,500 square feet of shopping space, as well as 22 dressing rooms. They have a selection of 1,500+ dresses for 2023, which can be viewed online HERE. But, it's important to note that not all gowns on the website will be in-stock at the store.
Dream Dress is a locally-owned business that comes to Lindale Mall each winter for prom season. The website reads:

With a wide selection of styles from 20 different designers and competitive pricing, we're your one-stop destination for prom fashion."
Dream Dress is typically open from January until late March/early April, but it's best to shop in January and February because that's when the store "typically get new dresses arriving weekly." The hours are:
- Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
