9/25/1980: John Bonham Died at Age 32

On the way to rehearsals for the band's upcoming U.S. tour, John Bonham had asked to stop for breakfast, where he drank roughly sixteen shots. He then continued to drink heavily when he arrived. After midnight, Bonham had fallen asleep and was taken to bed and placed on his side. John Paul Jones found him dead the next morning. He was 32 years old.
