Here in Iowa, we love our beautiful fall days, getting outside, enjoying the sunshine and getting some exercise. Here's a perfect opportunity to participate in a family-friendly event and help raise money for a great cause.

Panther Nation, you've been summoned! It's time rise up and join the fun with the the 5th annual "Run4UNI" on Saturday, October 17th. As with most everything this fall, the event will move to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All proceeds will benefit the UNI Athletics Department.

The virtual race is 4 miles long, and participants can either walk or jog the distance on their own routes. Registration is open until Thursday, Oct. 15th. Registration is $40 and includes an official high-performance race t-shirt, print-at-home racer's bib, and a finisher's certificate. A second registration option is available for $25, which includes a print-at-home racer's bib and finisher's certificate. Click here to register.

Runners and walkers are encouraged to print out a free race bib. Take a picture pre/post-run, share it on social media using the hashtag #Run4UNI and tagging @UNIAthletics. UNI Athletics will share photos of finishers throughout the day of the race.
