50 YEARS AGO TODAY: Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones Died at age 27

July 3, 1969: Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones was found dead in his swimming pool in England. The death was ruled accidental, but he had high levels of alcohol and barbiturates in his system. He was credited for coming up with the band’s name and  played that distinct marimba line on "Under My Thumb."
