3 Arrested in Separate Incidents in Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department reports some weekend arrests in various incidents.
Just before 1am Sunday (Jan. 8), officers pulled over a car in the 300 block of 7th Avenue SE. The driver, 32 year old Elizabeth Toms of Hazleton, was arrested for Driving While her License is Revoked.

Shortly after 9pm Saturday (Jan. 7), police performed a traffic stop in the ten block of 7th Avenue NE in Oelwein. The driver, 25 year old Mallory Biggs of Winthrop, was charged with Driving While Barred.

And at about 3:30pm Saturday, officers were sent out to a domestic situation in the 300 block of 1st Avenue NE. There, they arrested 50 year old Barbara Swaggerty of Oelwein, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
