12/7/1969: Frosty the Snowman Premiered on TV
51 years ago tonight, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN made its debut on national TV. Since its debut, it has aired annually on CBS making it the longest run of a television special on the same network, longer than any other currently airing Christmas special. (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has aired on multiple networks since its debut in 1964)
