10 YEARS AGO TODAY…Brett Michaels Was Clotheslined
On June 7th, 2009, Bret Michaels was injured after performing at the Tony Awards when some stage scenery, lowered, and crushed his head while he was exiting the stage.
He then sued the Tony Awards stating that "they failed to tell him how to exit the stage safely."
Michaels reportedly suffered a fractured nose and blamed a brain hemorrhage he experienced many months later from this accident.
The terms of the settlement were not made public.
