Woman Clinging to Life After Hit by Car in C.F.

Cedar Falls Police are investigating an accident early this (Thursday) morning, in which a woman apparently walked out in front of a moving car.

It happened at about 5:30am, at the intersection of University Avenue and Cedar Heights Drive.

The 59 year old woman, whose name has not been released, was attempting to cross University, just east of Cedar Heights, when she walked in front of a car, that had the green light.

The woman was rushed to UnityPoint/Allen Hospital in Waterloo, in critical condition with life-threatening head injuries.
