Woman Airlifted From Rural Crash Scene

Authorities have not released the name of a woman who was apparently seriously injured in a one-car accident in Mitchell County.
It happened at about 3:30pm Tuesday, on Hickory Avenue, south of St. Ansgar.

The unknown driver reportedly rolled her car on the rural road, however other details about the accident have not been released.

The woman was initially taken from the crash scene by ambulance; she then had to be airlifted to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

The accident is being investigated by the Mitchell County Sheriff; they were assisted at the crash site by the Mitchell County EMS, St. Ansgar Fire Department, and Mitchell County Ambulance.
