Wet Grounds Forcing Parking Lot Closures For Iowa-Iowa State Football Game

Fans driving to Iowa City for the Iowa-Iowa State football game this weekend may need to make other parking arrangements.

Due to the amount of rainfall in the area this week, parking will not be permitted on the driving range at the University of Iowa’s Finkbine Golf Course on Saturday. The grassy area east of Francis X. Cretzmeyer Track is also closed.

University of Iowa officials say free parking and a shuttle service will be available from the parking lot adjacent to Hancher Auditorium, and the Hawkeye Commuter lot located immediately northeast of Finkbine.

For easier access to Kinnick Stadium, fans may ride the Hawkeye Express train located near Coral Ridge Mall or park at Lot 11 near the Campus Wellness and Recreation Center.
