A West Union man is facing multiple charges following an investigation of a reported domestic disturbance in Fayette County on Monday (Nov. 16, 2015).

Sheriff's deputies were called to a home at 408 Mill St. in Clermont around 6:30 p.m. After they arrived, authorities conducted an investigation and took Michael Scott McAllen, 28, into custody and transported him to the Fayette County jail.

McAllen was arrested on several charges, including second-degree burglary (Class-C Felony); domestic abuse assault (simple misdemeanor); attempted burglary of a motorized vehicle (serious misdemeanor); fifth-degree criminal mischief (simple misdemeanor); and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).

According to Fayette County sheriff's officials, the investigation into the domestic disturbance report remains open and more charges are pending in the case.
