Fans going to UNI's football game against top-ranked North Dakota State in Cedar Falls this weekend, may need to allow some extra time to get to the UNI-Dome.

Just like the Panthers' home-opener two weeks ago, rainy weather has forced UNI athletic officials to alter parking for the game. Due to wet grounds, the Hy-Vee Fan Zone and all grass lots around the UNI-Dome will be closed on Saturday (Oct. 6, 2018).

According to UNI officials, overflow parking will be available in the ramp (Multimodal Transportation Center) off 23rd Street. Other possibilities include the Gilchrist Hall lot on Campus Street (north of University Ave.) and the ITC West lot at the intersection of Campus Street and University Ave.

Additional handicap parking will be available in the McLeod Center parking lot next to the UNI-Dome. Parking there, however, will be restricted to PSC Diamond and above members and those with handicap tags, UNI officials said.

A large crowd is expected for the game between the 22nd-ranked Panthers and defending FCS National Champion Bison, who are playing their first road game of the season. North Dakota State is coach by Waterloo native and UNI graduate Chris Klieman.

The Panther Scholarship Club (PSC) will host its Football Club Room in the Hall of Fame Connector from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pre-game club room is open to Purple level and above members with club room passes.

Saturday's game is scheduled to kickoff at 1 PM on Stan Sheriff Field. Tickets can be purchased online at www.unipanthers.com/tickets.
