Weather Conditions a Factor in Rollover

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a one-vehicle accident near Hawkeye.

It happened around 6:30pm Saturday (Feb. 25) on 250th Street, north of Hawkeye.

A car driven by 37 year old Crystal Steffen of Hawkeye went out of control due to weather conditions. Steffen's car entered a ditch where it rolled onto it's top.

No one was hurt, but the 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was totaled.

The Hawkeye Fire Department and TriState Ambulance assisted the Fayette County Sheriff at the scene of the accident.
