A Waverly man, accused of stabbing another person in the neck last year, now faces 10 years in prison.

44 year old Woodrow Hall was convicted in January of willful injury causing serious injury, assault while committing a felony, and going armed.

Hall was sentenced earlier this month to 10 years for the willful injury and assault charges, and five years for the going armed charge, with the terms to run concurrently.

Hall is accused of stabbing Brandon Probus outside the Happy Hour Pub in Waverly in March of last year; he then chased Probus into the Red Fox Inn, stabbing him several times, while the two were in a hallway. Probus sustained a serious wound to his neck.
