Waterloo Shooting Sunday Night Near School

Waterloo Police are looking into yet another shooting.

This one happened at about 6:30pm Sunday, near the intersection of West 5th and Locust Streets.

According to a witness, a man was hanging out a car window, firing a half-dozen shots or more, that struck three homes, causing some damage. No one was injured, but it was noted that a 3 year old child was nearby, as well as several others. Irving Elementary School is located across the street.

Waterloo Police collected evidence, including shell casings, Sunday night. The investigation continues.
