Waterloo Man Charged With Assault at Center

Fayette County authorities have arrested a Waterloo man for an alleged assault at a residential center.

Shortly after 4:30pm Saturday (April 8), the Fayette County Sheriff was called to the Prairieview Residential Center near Fayette for a resident who was reportedly being aggressive toward the center's staff and other residents.

23 year old D'Quavis Grover was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault, and Interference with Official Acts.

Grover was taken to the Fayette County jail, and held until his initial court appearance.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted in the investigation by the Iowa DNR.
