Waterloo House Fire Under Investigation

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire that caused significant damage to a Waterloo home early today (Monday, Jan. 9, 2017).

The blaze broke out around 3:30 a.m. in a two-story house at 718 W. 2nd St.

According to Waterloo Fire Rescue officials, no one was inside the home when the blaze began. No injuries were reported.
