The No. 1 Wartburg wrestling team three-peated as the NCAA Central Regional Champions with its 167.5 points and had a school-record seven individual champions.

The Knights also had nine qualifiers for the NCAA Championships in Hershey, Penn.

"I'm proud of this group of guys," said head coach Eric Keller, who was also named the Regional Head Coach of the Year. "It says a lot about how our guys were unknown and unranked at the beginning of the season and how our development all year has progressed to where we are today."
