University of Iowa football ranks 23rd in attendance

The University of Iowa football team drew an average of 67,125 fans per game to Kinnick Stadium during the 2013 season, placing the Hawkeyes at #23 in the nation for home game attendance.

The top programs for home attendance in 2013 were #1 University of Michigan (111,592) #2 Ohio State (104,933) #3 Alabama (101,505) #4 Texas (98,976) and #5 Penn State (96,587).

The Hawkeye’s home games for the 2014 season include Northern Iowa (Aug. 30), Ball State (Sept. 6), Iowa State (Sept. 13), Indiana (Oct. 11 – Homecoming), Northwestern (Nov. 1), Wisconsin (Nov. 22) and Nebraska (Nov. 28)
