Delaware County sheriff's officials have charged two area residents with assault, following an investigation into two separate incidents.

The most-recent incident occurred on Monday (May 21, 2018), when authorities received a call regarding a domestic dispute in Earlville. Deputies arrested Jordan Zehr of Earlville on several charges, including: domestic abuse assault, obstruction of emergency communications, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while his license is denied or revoked.

The other incident, officials received a report of an assault at a residence in Dundee on Sunday. Responding deputies took James Missel of Dundee into custody on a charge of assault. He will have to appear in court at a later date.
