Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on a rural Butler County gravel road early Saturday evening (July 7, 2018).

The Iowa State Patol said Sarah Sprague, 24, of Waverly, and Rayce Tapp, 23, of Nashua, were both transported to the hospital after the accident. The extent of their injuries wasn't released.

The accident happened just after 6:30 PM on Willow Ave., southwest of Plainfield. According to a crash report, the southbound vehicle began to fishtail just north of 150th St. The driver over-corrected, which caused the vehicle to spin and roll. The vehicle then landed on its wheels in a ditch.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by Butler County sheriff's deputies, Clarksville Police and EMS, and the Plainfield Fire Department.
