Waterloo police are trying to determined what caused a sport utility vehicle to leave a city street and crash into a home early Monday (June 29, 2015).

Two people were injured in the accident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the southern edge of Waterloo. According to police, the SUV left Dysart Road (County Road V-37), entered a ditch, and broke through the wall of a home in the 5500 block of Summerland Drive.

The driver, Weadeh Tucker, 25, of Waterloo, suffered cuts from broken glass. Both men were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

According to Moore, Van Schoyck's wife was home at the time of the accident, but wasn't injured. She was in another room of the house at the time of the accident.
