Two Waterloo residents were arrested Wednesday (June 3rd) and charged with Felony Assault from an incident that happened on May 24th.

Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies were called to a report of an assault at 1410 Dunkerton Rd on May 30th.  After a short investigation, deputies found that a 22 year old male victim had been beaten about the face and body repeatedly and sustained bodily injury.  The incident reportedly happened 6 days earlier on May 24th.

Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies investigated the crime and arrested two people and charged them both with Willful Injury, a class D Felony:

27 year old April Joy Jones of Waterloo and 21 year old Alexander Iyad Ali Saleh of Waterloo were both arrested, charged and booked into the Black Hawk County Jail
