Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputies, The Hudson Police and Hudson Fire and Ambulance responded to a single vehicle accident on Tuesday (10/6/15) with injuries.

According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's office, around 4 PM, Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputies, Hudson Police, and Hudson Fire and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the 10,000 block of South Hudson Road to the scene of a single vehicle rollover.

A preliminary investigation at the site of the crash indicated that a PT Cruiser driven by Danell Kittelson, 52, of Waterloo, had been northbound on S. Hudson (US 63). Just before the intersection with Griffith Road, Ms. Kittelson lost control of her vehicle. She entered the east ditch and rolled.

Ms. Kittelson and her passenger Jason Varnum, 38, of rural Hudson were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff's deputies were assisted at the scene by Iowa State Patrol and Hudson Police.

The accident is still under investigation.
