Trial Begins For Waterloo Man Charged With Murder

Testimony is expected to begin in a Waterloo murder trial today (Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015).

Roderick Ward Jr., 28, is accused of fatally shooting Gary Wilson, 27, outside Ward's home on Jackson Street over two years ago. According to court records, police believe the August 2013 shooting occurred after an argument between the two acquaintances.

Ward allegedly shot Wilson multiple times.

Jury selection in the murder trial began Tuesday in Black Hawk County District Court.
