An Oelwein man has been arrested following an incident Monday night (May 23).
Oelwein Police officers were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue NW at about 7pm Monday.

After looking into the matter, police charged 35 year old Ross Cashen with trespass and assault causing injury.

Oelwein authorities are investigating a vandalism incident.

Police got a report shortly after 9:30pm Monday, of some criminal mischief in the ten block of South Frederick Avenue. No other information was released.
