The Fact Is...

You can sue God! Holy Moly!  You better have a good lawyer though.

Ok, so it's not such a bad story, since the dude that sued God did it to prove a point.

Let me take you back....In 2007 there was a lawsuit filed against a district court judge in Nebraska.  Senator Ernie Chambers thought the suit was inappropriate and frivolous. He was also sick of people suing everyone and everything. So, he sued God, proving that you can sue anyone or anything you want.

In the suit, Chambers claims that God made terroristic threats against him and his constituents, due to "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of Earth's inhabitants."  He also sued God for causing "fearsome floods, horrendous hurricanes and terrifying tornadoes."  Or was he writing a really bad country song.

I'm going to sue the Devil for making me do all of those bad things in my life.  No wait, those were the fun times.
