The 12 Days of Christmas are VERY expensive and keep getting costlier. It's getting to the point that none of us here can afford the partridge in a pear tree.

According to PNC Wealth Management, purchasing every item mentioned in "The Twelve Days of Christmas" will cost $156,508 in 2016. That's up's from $155,407 last year.
Here is the breakdown of the 364 items:

  • One Partridge And A Pear Tree, $210; last year: $215
  • Two turtle doves, $375; last year: $290
