Search For Missing Clayton County Teen Continues

Northeast Iowa authorities continue to ask the public for help in locating a missing Clayton County teenager.

Jody Ann Palmer, 16, of rural Colesburg, was last seen at around midnight on January 5, 2019. She was reported missing at 1:19 PM.

According to the Clayton County sheriff's officials, information collected so far indicates that Palmer traveled east of the state. However, she may be attempting to travel to California.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is helping the Clayton County authorities in the investigation.

Officials are asking that if anyone has information on Palmer, or had contact or communication with her recently, to call the Clayton County Sheriff's Department at 563-245-2422.
