Single Vehicle Rollover Injures One

An early morning accident today (Thursday, December 10th) sent one person to the hospital.

According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office, Deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover, with injuries, on 7600 block W. 1st St. in rural Cedar Falls.  Upon arrival, the Deputies found a silver GMC Terrain located along the edge of a field on the north side of the road.

Ashley Marks, 29, of rural Dike was traveling west bound on W. 1st St. and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest on its top.

Marks sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The incident is still under investigation.
