Shots Fired in Waterloo

Waterloo police are investigating a report of shots fired in a Waterloo neighborhood last (Thursday) night.

Area residents called police at about 9:30pm Thursday, reporting that they heard several gunshots in the area of Logan Avenue and Argyle street.

A preliminary investigation indicates that two people had fired shots at each other, one from inside a house on Argyle street, and the other from the outside.

No injuries were reported, however responding officers found damage to a home on Logan Avenue, as well as shell casings on the ground.

A witness told authorities that he saw a man take cover, and shoot at another man, who fled on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterloo police.
