Waterloo police are investigating another shooting in less than a week, that happened at the same location.

Authorities were called out Tuesday night, to the 300 block of Logan Avenue on the report of gunfire.

Responding officers discovered one person was injured this time, and taken to Allen hospital. The person's name and condition were not released. Blood was found on the pavement.

The incident happened at the intersection of Logan and Argyle street, the same location as a shooting last Thursday night. In that incident, no one was injured; one person was apparently shooting at another person in an apartment building. There was damage to the building, and no one had been arrested.

A search warrant was executed at the apartment, and a handgun was seized.

Anyone with information on the shootings is asked to contact Waterloo police or Cedar Valley crimestoppers.
