Rollover Near Arlington Sends Young Driver to Hospital

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a weekend rollover accident that sent one person to the hospital.

At about 6am Sunday (Oct. 23), authorities received a report of a rollover on Highway 187, southeast of Arlington.

Deputies determined that a car driven by a juvenile male driver, went out of control, entered a ditch, then rolled several times.

The driver, whose name was not released, was airlifted to a regional hospital.

The vehicle was totaled.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Arlington Ambulance, Arlington Fire Department, and Air Care from Waterloo.
